Abstract:For the controllable and precise regulation of the Autler-Townes splitting of Four-Wave Mixing, the paper proposes a coherent control method for the peak intensity of the Four-Wave Mixing Autler-Townes splitting based on the parameters of the dressing fields. Firstly, by dressed-state theory and the density matrix equations, the expression of the peak intensity of Four-Wave Mixing Autler-Townes splitting is obtained. Then, the variation laws of the peak intensity of Four-Wave Mixing Autler-Townes splitting with the detuning and power of the dressing field is investigated. The results demonstrate that when the power of the dressing field is relatively small, the Four-Wave Mixing signal will be enhanced. Conversely, it will be suppressed. And the greater the power, the stronger the suppression effect is. When the detuning of the dressing field is increasing, the modulation capability of the dressing field will increasing subsequently. The research results of the paper are expected to be applied in the cutting-edge fields such as quantum computing and quantum communication.
