Abstract:The LaBO3:Eu,Gd powders were perpared by microwave induced combustio n method using lanthanum(III) nitrate hydrate,europium oxide,gadolinium oxide,and boric acid as reaction raw materials,glycine as combustion agent,and natrium carbonicum calcinatum as cosolvent.The effects of t he factors,such as Eu/Gd doping amount,microwave power,calcination temperature and time,on the product are discu ssed.The powders are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM),p hotoluminescence spectroscopy (PL) and ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS).Th e results show that Eu,Gd codoped LaBO3has the best effect when the doping amount of Eu is 2% and that of Gd is 3%,the calcination temperature is 500℃,and the calcination time is 3h.
