    摘要:

    提出一种基于光学可调色散的三角波信号光学产生方案,并进行了实验验证。本振信号 驱动双电极Mach-Zehnder调制器(DE-MZM)的一臂,对连续波(CW)激光进行调制,产生各 阶光边带,通过合理设置DE-MZM的直 流偏压点,并利用可调色散补偿器(TDC)对光信号引入一定的移相,光电探测后可以得到 与本振(LO,local oscillator)信号重 复率相等的三角波信号。通过简单地改变LO 信号频率,得到的三角波信号重复率也相应发生变化。 在实验中,利用本文方案分别得到了重复率为5GHz和6GHz的三角波信号。本文方案结构 简单,频率调 谐灵活,利用现有商用光电器件,预期能够得到重复率高达40GHz的 三角波信号,可满足未来高频电子系统的应用需求。

    Abstract:

    Thanks to the advantages of large bandwidth,flexible tunability,and immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI),photonic generation of microwave waveforms h as been a hot research topic in recent years.In this paper,a triangular waveform generation scheme based on a dual-electrode Mach-Zehnder modulator (DE-MZM) and tunable dispersion compens ator (TDC) is proposed and experimentally verified.A continuous-wave (CW) light wave is modu lated by a local oscillator (LO) signal through a DE-MZM to generate all the order sidebands .By properly tuning the direct current (DC) bias of the modulator and introducing phase shifts on optical signa ls through the TDC,a triangular waveform with a repetition rate equal to that of the LO signal will b e generated after photodetection. In addition,by simply adjusting the frequency of the LO signal,the repetition rate of the generated triangular waveform can be also changed,which features the advantages of good f requency tunability.In the experiment,triangular waveforms with the repetition rates of 5GHz and 6GHz are successfully generated. The proposed scheme has simple structure and tunable repetition rate.Usi ng commercially available photoelectric devices,the repetition rate can be further improved to 40GHz,and may meet the requirements for future high-frequency electronic systems.
