Abstract:On this basis of investigation for the detection theory of ultrasonic infrared thermal-wave,virtual instrument technology is utilized to develop an i nfrared image processing system based on integration idea in order to solve the problem of the low contrast,high noise and high background in infrared thermal i mage,which can implemen t the automatically fast processing of infrared thermal map sequence and quantitative identification of defects and im prove the detection efficiency of infrared thermography.The results prove that the system can effectively implement such functions as gathering,saving,showing,enhancin g infrared image and edge detection, reduce the grain noise in the thermal maps,lock the damage edge,and consequent ly get the clear damage area in the image, which lay the foundation for quantitative evaluation of damage.
