Abstract:In order to meet the demands of laser propagation in applications,the process analysis of the laser atmospheric propagation in engineering applications,the atmospheric turbulence effects on l aser propagation and the ways of simulating atmospheric turbulence dynamic effec ts on laser propagation are discussed.The numerical simulation of the random pha se s creens formed by multiple layers of atmospheric turbulence as while as wavefron t retrieval based on a spatial light modulators (SLMs) is also provided.The data serials from numerical simulation of random phase screens created by multiple layers are processed by a computer,and then are sent to the SLMs on the light path so as to modulate the laser light phase,form the distributions of laser light random phase and the undulations of laser beam intensity in far field.The simulation system can generate different atmospheric turbulence and prove the turbulence effects on laser far field propagation.The application results show that the proposed method can provide the specialties of real-time,dynamic control,e xpansibility and can be used in hardware-in-loop simulation system,which also can be applied to the applications,such as sim ulation of laser signals′ atmosphere propagations.
