    摘要:

    研究了基于双波长注入锁定法布里-珀罗半导体激光器(FP-LD)的全光判决门,及其在失真的10Gbit/s归零(RZ)伪随机 序列(PRBS)全光判决中的应用。首先对双波长注入锁定FP-LD的输出光功率与 注入光功率的功率转移特性进行了实验研究,测试得到“ S”型的功率转移曲线,证明了双波长注入锁定结构具 有对注入信号光进行光判决的能力;合理设置注入 FP-LD信号光的偏振态,及其与最接近的FP-LD 自由振荡纵模之间的频率失谐量,实现了10Gbit/s RZ光信号的全光 判决,并将判决后 的结果通过光示波器进行观测。与注入的失真RZ信号的眼图比较,全光判决后零码噪声得 到抑制,眼图明显张开,从而验证了基于双波长注入锁定 FP-LD的全光判决方案判决高速光信号的可行性以及其在全光 信号处理领域极大的应用价值。

    Abstract:

    All-optical decision gate based on two-mode injection locked Fabry-Perot lase r diode (FP-LD) and its application in decision on a distorted 10Gbit/s return-to-zero (RZ) p seudorandom bit sequence(PRBS) are studied in this paper.Firstly,the transfer characteristics of the injection and the output power in two-mode injection locked FP-LD are experimentally studied.The “S-shape” transfer characteristic curve of test result shows that the structure of two-mode injection locked FP-LD has the ability for all-op tical decision on injection optical data signal.Furthermore,all-optical decision on a 10Gbit/s RZ optical PRBS is reali zed by properly adjusting the polarization state of the injection data signal and the detuning between the inj ec tion data light and the closest free running longitudinal mode of FP laser.The result of decision is observed throug h optical oscilloscope.Compared with the eye diagram of the distorted injection RZ data,the noise added to zero code is suppressed,and the eye diagram after decision is obviously opened.So the feasibility of all-optical d ecision on high speed optical signal by using two-mode injection locked F P-LD is verified,which shows a vast application prospect to the field of all-o ptical signal processing.
