Abstract:In order to diminish the influence of space optical remote sensor′s c alibration coefficient from calibration source,a calibration source with equi-energy-spectrum output is developed,wh ich is based on integrating sphere. The calibration source can produce equi-energy-spectrum with different brightness values to calibrate the space optical remote sensor.Firstly, the mechanism of calibration source with equi-energy -spectrum output used to calibrate space optical remote sensor is analyzed. Then, three key problems in developing ca libration source with equi-energy-spectrum output are solved, namely, the radiation characteristics research and structure de sign of integrating sphere, the light source′s driving and control system, and the equi-energy-spectrum matching technique.Fin ally, the calibrated calibration source′s performance is tested:the irradiance non-uniformity is 0.53%,the radiance angular non-uniformity within horizontal:± 30° is 0.80%,three radiance levels,10W/(m2·sr),20W/(m2·s r) and 30W/(m2·sr) in 400-900 nm band are simulated, and there spectral matching errors are 5.45%,4.68% and 6.37%,re spectively.Increasing LED types between 400nm and 600nm can reduce the spe ctral matching error.
