Abstract:Based on three boundary conditions that solar cell photocurrent is muc h larger than the reverse saturation current,the shunt resistance is much larger than the series resistan ce and photocurrent is approximately equal to the negative short-circuit current,an analytical method for the extra ction of solar cell parameters is proposed,and its characteristics are studied in detail.The method combines wit h the description at the short-circuit,open-circuit and maximum power point of solar cell.The paramet ers include the solar cells photocurrent,the reverse saturation current,the ideality factor,the shunt res istance and the series resistance. When this method is used to analyze existing literature data,the results do not only certify correctness of the method,but also show that the method can be applied to different kinds of solar cells under various conditions. When the method is applied to the experimental data,the results prove that this method has a high computational accuracy and speed.The experiment and analysis results show that the fitting er ror is less than 2% and the calculated time is less than 0.2s,which meet solar cell parameters extra ction accuracy and time requirements in engineering application field.This research enriches the curren t solar cell parameters extraction method.
