Abstract:In this paper,we study and compare the analytic and explicit function methods in extracting solar cell parameters.Both the two methods can fit the current-voltage characteristics of solar cells.Moreover,it is found that the accuracy of explicit function method is about one time higher than that of analytic method,while the running time of explicit function method is about 1% of that of analytic method according to the fitting results.In addition,it is observed that the extracted parameters will be affected by the selection of maximum power points in analytic method,while the proper initial values are very important for implicit function method,So slecting proper initial values can greatly chance the fitting accuracy of solar cell parameters.
