A method for image denoising is proposed.By combining nonsubsampled contourlet transform with Gaussian scale mixtures(GSM),the marginal distributions of neighbor coefficients in the nonsubsampled contourlet domain are modeled.The Bayes least square estimation is adopted to evaluate each coefficient to remove additive white Gauss noise.The simulation experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce Gauss noise and preserve image edge.Its performance is superior in both peak signal no...
