A very stable 4.4-5.6 ps pulse at 10 GHz was generated using a regeneratively mode-locked fiber ring laser(RML-FRL) with center wavelength continuously tunable from 1 528 nm to 1 563 nm.Over 46.08 nm supercontinuum(SC) spectrum was generated from a dipsersion shifted fiber(DSF) using RML-FRL as pump source.By using an array-waveguide grating(AWG),30 channels 10 GHz pulses with pulse width between 5.5-5.8 ps spacing on ITU-T grid(100 GHz) were obtained.The measured timing jitter of digital communication analyzer(DCA) was less than 1.4 ps.
