We measured polarized transmission spectrum of a mica wave plate using spectrophotometer.According analysis of theory and experiment,a systematic way of measuring optic parameters of a mica wave plate with a spectrophotometer was put forward.By this means,we can demarcate the 1.2 or 1/4 character of a wave plate and the directions of fast and slow axes.
