Abstract:A fabrication technology of Er 3+ doped glass samples was introduced.Photoluminescence(PL) characterization of Er 3+ doped glass samples using the transmission method,the reflection method,two directional pump and the absorption spectrum of the sample were measured.The results show that PL intensity of the transmission spectrum is higher than that of the reflection spectrum.However,PL intensity of the reflection spectrum is higher than that of the transmission spectrum when the sample is added a reflector.In the experiment of two directional pump,PL intensity is related to the wavelength of laser.
