Abstract:A new matrix computation method is introduced for analyzing double wavelength fiber Bragg gratings(FBG).The whole FBG are separated into multi films,in each film the refractive index can be see as constant.Each film can be expressed with a transmission matrix.Transmission characteristics of the FBG can be obtained by multiplying all the matrixes.The numerical result indicates that this new method is suitable for analyzing double wavelength FBG.
