Using equal -light-path method,We derived formulas of second-and third-order dispersion of additive-type four-prism sequence.To our knowledge,it is the first time tha t the analytic expressions of four-prism-sequence are given.These formulas are useful in evaluating the dispersion of four-prism sequence that can be inserte d in self-mode-locked lasers like Tisapphire laser.
