According to the dielectric tensor of magneticoptic materials this paper analysis the relation between magnetic linear birefraction and Faraday Rotator's extinction ratio,and the experimental test is given.The results show magnetic linear birefraction is the main effect fator to Faraday Rotator's extinction ratio.
