Abstract:The phase properties of the two mode light field interacting with a V type three level atom are studied with the Pegg Barnett phase theory,the phase probability distribution of the two mode light field interacting with a V type three level atom is given,under the conditions of the strongest light field and the weakest light field,the relationship between the phase probability distribution and the light field intensity and the initial state of the atom are analyzed.The results show that the phase distribution of the light field and its fluctuation have a strong correlation with the light field intensity and the initial state of the atom.
