A method to detect phase drift of a digital image acquisition device is presented.The phase drift induced by a digital image acquisition device was detected by acquisition of sinusoidal structured light and Fourier Transform.The statistical characters of the phase drift are analyzed and its effect to Phase Measuring Prolifometry are discussed.
