In this paper, the study results of thermal destruction caused by CW CO 2 laser exposure on human teeth are reported. The safe critical value of energy density is about 10J/cm 2. Under this condition, a satisfactory effect has been acquired in bactericidal test. Using the metallography the histological examination of human teeth is carried out.
