A technique that use superimposition image to input reference and object images to realize high-efffciency joint transform correlation is proposed in this paper. The input plane of the system is divded into four equal parts by computer, and in every part the reference and the object images are displayed by superimposition mode.An optical wavefront-division multiplexer is ussed in the proposed system to separt the readout optical information of different parts from each other in space and frequency domains, and to form a joint power spectral array at the focal plane of the first Fourier transform lens. As a result., enhanced optical correlation signal is obtained at the output plane The Principle of the system and the experimental results have been given .
